KirE wins readers’ hearts as best builder
By Pat Setter
The votes are in. In June, we asked our readers to pick the top homebuilders in the annual SD Best Union-Tribune Readers Poll. And the winner is KirE Builders Inc., which has been named “Best New Home Builder.”
KirE landed atop the list of 10 finalists in the poll, which is now in its 20th year and gives San Diegans the opportunity to vote for their favorite businesses in the county.
“The KirE Builders team and I are grateful to be named 2016’s Best New Home Builder,” said Josh Santa, president of KirE Builders. “We truly appreciate the support of the community and look forward to continuing our mission to provide housing to San Diegans for years to come.”
Named after Erik, the late son of one of the founding business partners, KirE (rhymes with fire) has more than 20 years of experience in the building industry. The company has built a team of compassionate individuals who put their hearts into every construction job.
“This award is a testament to our company’s hard work and steadfast commitment to providing innovative homes at a tremendous value,” Santa said. “Beyond building homes that we’re proud of, we take the time to connect with our customers on a more personal level. We love building homes in this incredible county that we call home.”
The Poway-based company has two communities now selling in San Diego County: townhomes at Nickel Creek in Ramona and single-family homes at Circa De Loma in Fallbrook. The recently opened community of Nickel Creek offers floor plans ranging from 1,044 to 1,559 square feet, with homes priced from $309,990. To learn more, visit ncramona.com.
At Circa de Loma, single-family homes on 2-plus-acre lots offer “room to roam,” Santa said. Homes range from 2,710 to 3,135 square feet with three to five bedrooms and solar options available. To learn more, visit circadeloma.com.
